Refunds and changes
Updated 28 September 2026
If a ticket cannot be issued
The hold on your card is released and nothing is charged, both fees included.
If the airline cancels or changes your flight
paxID tells you. If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you can accept the airline’s other flight at no extra cost, or ask for a refund to the card you paid with. The refund includes the fare and any service fee. The booking fee is not refunded.
For flights to, from or within the United States, these refunds follow the US Department of Transportation rules for ticket agents: for card payments, paxID refunds you within 7 business days after the airline confirms that you are eligible.
Under EU rules on flight delays and cancellations, compensation and care are the airline’s duty. paxID helps you claim them.
If you want to change or cancel
The airline’s fare rules decide what is possible. Before you confirm, paxID shows you the airline’s charges and the ticketing partner’s charges. paxID adds no charge of its own, and its fees are not refunded. For name corrections and date changes, contact support.
The US 24-hour free cancellation rule applies to airlines, not to ticket sellers like paxID.
